Stuck in the mud
There may be a number of factors involved in feeling stuck. For many of the people I work with or have worked with, coaching has helped them clear away a lot of the distractions, focus on what they are experiencing in the moment and allowed them to get some clarity on how they wish to move forward. Sometimes this involves more openness to their situation and understanding the factors within their control. Other times it can mean moving in a completely different direction. Some people have come into our sessions having done extensive therapy which has freed them up to start looking at future progress and the practicalities of that through coaching.
Exploring ways in which you, yourself can find a sense of calm and clarity can be super helpful. This might come through walking, cooking, being outside, exercise, sitting quietly for a few minutes or anything else that makes you feel connected to yourself.
